The Opal King acquired his name from the beautiful opal veined center stone adorning his forehead. The stone contains the rich colored matrix that surrounds the opal. The beading mimics the essence of the center piece and continues its rivers of color and texture. This cabochon has been tucked away, along with the iris purple/blue accent beads for years, waiting for the perfect king on which to fasten these beautiful jewels to.
